What is Play Therapy
Play Therapy, also called Drama Therapy, Theater Therapy, or Dramatic Play is a method of mental healthcare that uses play to improve emotional growth, and can even help relieve some symptoms.
Activities such as storytelling, pretend, role playing, improvisation and performance help children to create social connections, explore their feelings, and develop skills that help them find solutions for hard to solve problems.
All kids, but especially those that suffer from a serious injury or illness might benefit from Play Therapy.
What is Enclothed Cognition
Everyone knows that our clothing says something to those around us, but more recently scientists began studying our clothing’s effects on us.
Studies show that something as simple as a superhero shirt can make the wearer feel stronger and more likeable.
Imagine the impact made when we dress our kids in the custom costume of the hero they see in themselves.
